The Truth about Abs is the No. 1 Best Selling book in the internet for abdominal exercises. The book is 150 pages long and consists of 3 core areas approximately 50 pages or a third of the book each:
- Nutrition
- Abdominal Exercises
- Full Body Weight Training and HIIT Cardio
I found the Nutrition portion of this E Book was actually very good and detailed and well written. It would pass any nutrition test in my opinion and goes into enough detail without getting too detailed ie boring. The are certain universal rules and tricks that help with fat loss and most are in this section. Furthermore there is some very detailed meal plans included showing some very realistic daily recipes with the exact protein, crab ohydrate and fat proportion and a total for the day. This part was well put together and made it easy to see the caloric and other values of certain foods.
Regarding the AB training itself as Mike and every other training tells you to show the abs you need to primarily lose the fat on top of your tummy and work your abs underneath. This is why this program is a full and complete system for working on your abs. Again you need to understand that you cant just work abs to get results you need to work your whole body to get great abs.
Regarding the abdominal exercises themselves there are 50 pages of exercises that are recommended by Mike and I will admit several key ones I already did but most people probably dont.
What made this purchase worthwhile for me even after purchasing many other e books with abdominal training included is that there were several killer exercises that really did work your whole 'core' effectively and this book helped to shape my abdominal workout and also clear up some of the nutritional no no's when it comes to belly fat.
Overall very well written and concise and recommended for anyone that wants some specific knowledge on abdominals over and above normal fitness training.
